Permit Data Reports

 

Development Activity Reports

The Development Activity Reports are prepared by the Long Range Planning Section of the Community Development Department of the City of Sacramento on a semi-annual basis. The objective of this report is to provide a six-month review of planning and building permit activity citywide and in each Community Plan Area within the City. The report is based on data from the City's Automated Permitting System, which is used by all City departments to track the status of development applications submitted for City approval.

The semi-annual intervals are from January 1st through June 30th and July 1st through December 31. Information for the entire year is included in the last semi-annual report (July - December report).

 

Permit Application Reports

The Permit Application Reports (Applied Building Reports) are prepared by the Building Division of the Community Development Department of the City of Sacramento on a semi-monthly basis. The objective of this report is to provide a list of building permit activity citywide ‘Applied For’ during each period. The report is based on data from the City's Automated Permitting System, which is used by all City departments to track the status of development applications submitted for City approval.

The semi-monthly intervals are from the 1st through the 15th of each month and the 16th through the end of each month.  The reports are available in both PDF and Excel formats.

 

Issued Permit Reports

The Issued Permit/Building Reports are prepared by the Building Division of the Community Development Department of the City of Sacramento on a semi-monthly basis. The objective of this report is to provide a list of building permit activity citywide ‘Issued’ during each period. The report is based on data from the City's Automated Permitting System, which is used by all City departments to track the status of development applications submitted for City approval.

The semi-monthly intervals are from the 1st through the 15th of each month and the 16th through the end of each month.  The reports are available in both PDF and Excel formats.

 

Construction Valuation Summary Reports

The Construction Valuation Summary Reports are prepared by the Building Division of the Community Development Department of the City of Sacramento on a monthly basis. The objective of this report is to provide a summary of building permit activity permitted citywide during each period and includes cumulative Fiscal Year (July 1 thru June 30) information as well. The report is based on data from the City's Automated Permitting System, which is used by all City departments to track the status of development applications submitted for City approval.

The monthly intervals are from the 1st through the end of each month.   Information for the entire Calendar Year (January 1 thru December 31) is provided in a single report at the end of each year.
