Sacramento Earth Day celebration: Sunday, April 21

The City will be participating in the Sacramento Earth Day celebration on Sunday, April 21 at Southside Park, from 11 a.m. to 4 pm.

Join the Office of Climate Action & Sustainability for the "Make Your Mark" collaborative community painting, led by local artist Taner Pasamehmetoglu.

City staff from multiple other departments will be available at the event as table exhibitors, with information and activities.

Citywide Earth Day events on Saturday, April 6

City of Sacramento staff invited residents to join the Earth Day clean-up and beautification events on Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at locations citywide. All locations included trash pick-up and other activities as shown below:

  • Magnolia Park for planting and other landscaping work
  • Arcade Creek in Del Paso Regional Park for trash pick-up only
  • Niños Parkway Grassland for weeding and mulching
  • Sacramento Marina for landscaping work
  • Miller Regional Park for trash pick-up only
  • Argonaut Park for painting
  • Artivio Guerrero Park for planting
  • Danny Nunn Park for painting
  • Bill Conlin Sports Complex for planting
  • Silva Field for painting
