55-Alive Mature Driving Course
If you’re over 50 and would like a refresher course in driver’s safety, are interested in learning about physical changes as you age that are related to driving, and reduce your chance of injury in a traffic accident, check out the AARP’s Driver’s Safety Program. ARMS (Assistance, Referral, & More for Seniors)
Do you need help navigating the maze of services and programs for older adults? Do you have a problem or question you could use help with? Or, are you just trying to find services that meet your needs? Examples of assistance include: form completion, making calls to local agencies, lists for local housing, transportation, legal help, and other community services. Seasonal On-Site Services
Tax Assistance - Each year, the Ethel Hart Center serves as a free tax preparation site. Certified AARP volunteers prepare taxes for hundreds of local seniors age 50+ during the week and the Franchise Tax Board (VITA) is here on Saturdays to assist people of any age. Both can prepare basic income tax returns for individuals and couples filing jointly that have low-to-moderate income (generally, $42,000 and below). Appointments are first come, first serve and typically begin in February and last through April 15th. Electronic filing available.
Flu Shot- Sacramento County holds immunization clinics for at risk individuals annually at the Ethel Hart Center. Flu Clinic for 2009 will be held Tuesday, October 20th from 10:30am-1pm.

- Caregivers’ Support Group-conducted by Triple R staff- Fourth Fridays 9:30 a.m.
- “TOPS” (Taking off Pounds Sensibly) - Thursdays 7:45-8:45 a.m.

Triple “R” Respite Program
The Triple “R” Adult Day
Program offers companionship and a safe, caring environment to family members
with memory problems and frailty. The center is open Monday-Friday from
