This a new 6.4-acre neighborhood park project which is currently in the design phase. The first public meeting was held on June 4, 2007 ( June 4 meeting notes - pdf). City staff received input from the community as to what they would like to have in the park.

The second public meeting was held on August 1, 2007 ( August 1 meeting notes - pdf). A preliminary park master plan [which included the following amenities: 2 tennis courts, a tot lot, an adventure play area with swings, interactive water play misters, a shade structure with picnic tables and BBQ grills, walkways, open turf areas, walkways and landscaping] was reviewed and approved by the community with minor revisions.

The tentative project schedule is as follows:
Construction begins - Spring 2009
Construction ends - Fall 2009
