The City of Sacramento Department of Utilities Customer Service provides assistance to City residents and businesses Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at its counter and Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. over the phone.

Our Customer Service staff can assist you on the phone or via an online service request with:
- Set-up new Utility Service for residential and commercial customers.
- Bill inquiries
- Credit card payments (Visa / MasterCard only)
- Missed collection services
- Neighborhood Cleanup appointments and information
- Container replacement or repair
- Used motor oil recycling appointments
- Vacancy Stops
- Disabled Services requests

The following services can only be completed at our Customer Service Counter at 1395 35th Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95822:
- Water and Sewer Tap sales
- Fire tap sales
- Hydrant and Truck permits
- Utility bill payments (cash only)
- Meter Sales
Customer Service is closed on weekends and major holidays. City Operators are available 24 hours per day 7 days week by calling 311 within City limits or (916) 264-5011.
