Street Sweeping
Department of Utilities Solid Waste Services sweeps more than 150,000 miles of public right-away every year. Street sweeping is a bi-monthly service for most sections of the City. Street sweeping not only keeps streets looking neat, it also prevents debris from entering storm drains, causing street flooding and damage to our waterways.
