Water Wise House Call
A trained Water Conservation Specialist will visit your home or business to identify potential water savings.
More than 60% of your water use is outside your home. Save water and save money today by upgrading your existing irrigation system to make them more efficient! Residential upgrades to exisitng sprinkler systems may qualify for up to $500 in rebates. Commericial Industrial customers may qualify for up to $1500 in rebates. To qualify, you must have a water meter, a year's worth of usage data from your water meter, and have completed at Water Wise House/Business Call. All rebates are subject to available funds.
Toilets, showers, and washing machines are the biggest water-users in a house. By upgrading to high efficiency toilets and to high efficiency washing machines that are more water-efficient you may be eligible for a rebate from the City of Sacramento Department of Utilities. You may even be eligible for additional rebates from SMUD or PG&E.

The City of Sacramento can provide water wise tips and information in multiple languages, including Spanish, Chinese and Vietnamese.
To qualify for these programs and services, you must live within the City limits and receive a water bill from the City of Sacramento.

Someone Wasting Water?
If you see someone wasting water in your neighborhood you can give our friendly staff a call. We will come out and give them tips on how they can conserve water while keeping you anonymous with our water waste inspection. To report water waste, please call 311 or (916) 264-5011 and provide the address as well as the time you see the water waste occurring.
