Community Service Projects

The following projects work well for groups and individuals. If you would like more information about a specific project, please contact the individual listed.

Make catnip toys to stimulate and enrich the environment of the cats and kittens, craft doggie bandanas, or make veggie or peanut butter biscuit treats for Animal Care Services. Make quilted, crocheted or knitted lap robes for elderly individuals with memory loss participating in the day program with "Triple R". To discuss arrangements contact Nina Moran at the Hart Senior Center (916) 808-8375 or email: Nmoran@cityofsacramento.org. This program has several sites.

Craft supplies are needed by several programs. Supplies of yarn, fabric, buttons, ribbons, beads and other items can be collected and shared with one or more of the following programs:
